The Staff

My remote site experiences started with working for ESS Onsite outside of Fort St John in January 2007. I moved on after that winter, but in October 2010 returned to ESS Compass Group in the Watson Lake/Fort Nelson region. In June 2011 I began managing camps for ESS and our various joint venture partners. That began in our Fort Nelson camps and progressed to Fort St James, then Kitimat, and then in August 2015 I arrived at CNRL for a short introduction into the Oil Sands before accepting my present role at Suncor Baseplant that September.

They say home is where the heart is, so my heart is split between BC’s Okanagan Valley and Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit.

In a nutshell, I oversee the safe implementation of ESS Compass Group’s best practices for successful completion of our contractual service requirements at Suncor Baseplant.

I like to help people where I can so if you see me and have a burning question don’t be shy to ask. If I don’t have the answer rest assured I’ll work towards finding it for you.

If you don’t have a question, but maybe a good joke I do appreciate a laugh so don’t be shy to share those either!

Cheers and I’ll see you around!

I’ve worked in remote sites for 9 years in the Yukon, Northern BC and Alberta, most recently coming to the oilsands in December 2015. When at home in BC, I like to eat, drink, be merry and go camping and fishing.
